Summary

Due to expansion of our service, an opportunity has arisen for an administrative assistant to join our friendly team based at Avondale Unit at Royal Preston Hospital.

Providing much needed support to our service users is our primary focus. The role can be demanding at times as our team are the first point of contact for our service users and their support networks.

Compassion and empathy is a must as at times you will be exposed to challenging situations which require you to be supportive from the moment you pick up the phone.

Remaining calm and focused, with the support of our clinicians you will be rewarded knowing you have provided assistance at a time that it was needed.

You will have proven experience of minute taking in multi-disciplinary clinical team meetings.

A flexible approach is needed as every day can be different. Experience of working in a busy office with a clinical workload is preferred with previous exposure of working with the public essential.

Although always supported by the wider team, you must have relevant experience of managing your own workload and multi-tasking with a busy, varied workload
