We are recruiting for a Compliance Officer on a permanent basis to join our Grantham based client. Reporting to the Customer Services & Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a first-class customer experience for both external & internal customers in a robust and fast-paced environment.
The role will involve providing bespoke and routine customer reports to meet requirements of regulatory authorities.
Day-to-day duties
• Populate and submit data for customer reports.
• Implement & validate reporting for existing and new customers.
• Ensure regulatory compliance reporting is completed correctly and in line with the EA’s regulatory timetable.
• Support the Compliance Manager with EA and Customer Audits, supply any support requested information.
• Support Customer Services during peak periods.
• Complete daily internal and external weighbridge ticket checks
• Maintaining existing customer records, updating contracts and information when needed, setting up new contracts too.
• Add data to external customer portals.
All candidates must have the following requirements:
• Excellent communication skills
• Intermediate/advanced skills in Excel
• Be methodical and meticulous.
• Well-organised and focussed
• Demonstrate a positive, enthusiastic, and flexible approach
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritise and multi-task
• Experience in waste management industry desirable but not essential
The hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm
