Summary

Position: Compliance Officer

Salary: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year

Reporting to: Customer Services & Compliance Manager

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences in a dynamic and fast-paced environment? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you as a Compliance Officer.

As a Compliance Officer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring regulatory compliance and delivering top-notch service to both external and internal customers. Working closely with the Customer Services & Compliance Manager, you'll be responsible for providing tailored reports, supporting regulatory requirements, and maintaining the teams commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Compliance Manager to populate and submit timely and accurate data for customer reports.
• Implement and validate reporting procedures for both existing and new customers.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting deadlines, adhering to regulatory timetables.
• Provide administrative support for internal systems, including the Regenerist system.
• Assist in EA and Customer Audits, supplying necessary information as required.
• Offer support to Customer Services and Peace of Mind teams during peak periods and cover absences when necessary.
• Conduct daily checks on internal and external weighbridge tickets.
• Maintain the integrity of internal consignment note model systems.
• Update and maintain customer records, contracts, and information as needed.
• Input data into external customer portals, meeting all specified deadlines.
• Undertake any other duties assigned by the Compliance Manager.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Intermediate/advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and methodical approach.
• Highly organised and focused on task completion.
• Positive, enthusiastic, and adaptable mindset.
• Ability to thrive under pressure, prioritise tasks, and multitask effectively.
• Experience in the waste management industry is desirable but not essential.
