Summary

We are seeking Newly Qualified, Experienced and Return to Practice Social Workers to work within our Adult Services and Wellbeing directorate. We have a number of exciting social work roles across our directorate including Post Discharge Assessment Team, Gateway to Care, Personalised Long Term Support, All Age Disability Service and Older Peoples locality teams.

Our service is responsible for making sure people within our communities live as independently as possible for as long as possible. Social Workers play an integral role in delivering our statutory responsibilities under The Care Act 2014 and our directorate vision for individuals to live their largest life possible, recognising their individual aspirations, building on their strengths, their social networks and to feel connected to their communities.

If you are a Newly Qualified Social Worker (NQSW) or a student nearing the end of your social work training and starting to look for your first social work job, we would welcome your application. If you join us as a NQSW we will support you on our ASYE programme. This includes dedicated monthly group sessions with our Practice Educator Consultant, a maximum protected caseload of 15 and protected weekly development time.
