Summary
Working county wide based in one of three locations: Rugby, Stratford or Nuneaton Do you want to make a difference to the lives of children, young people and their families? If so, then we need you to help us deliver our innovative School Nursing Service in Warwickshire. The Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Public Health practitioner to become our Healthy Lifestyle Lead. About the role You will have responsibility for the development and roll out of public health messages, initiatives and campaigns that encourage a healthy lifestyle and will be responsible for sharing this material to individuals, families, schools and partner agencies. You will utilise your knowledge and skills as an experienced Public Health practitioner to implement evidence based best practice. You will be required to work creatively to best engage and meet the diverse health needs of the school-aged population. As the Healthy Lifestyle Lead, you will have accountability for facilitating, coordinating and delivering the National Child Measurement Programme across for the service. You will have direct line management and supervisory responsibility for members of the skill-mix team and will provide them with professional leadership and support. Completing annual appraisals is an aspect of this role. You will be based in one of our hubs in Rugby, Stratford or Nuneaton, and will work across the county.
