Summary
We are seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs) and trailers to ensure they are in optimal working condition. **Responsibilities:** - Use hand tools, power tools, and soldering equipment to fabricate, assemble, and repair HGV components. - Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical systems. - Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake adjustments, and tire rotations. - Diagnose mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs. - Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns professionally. - Dig into complex problems to identify root causes and implement effective solutions. **Requirements:** - Proven experience in equipment repair, preferably with HGVs. - Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and soldering equipment. - Ability to read and understand schematics for troubleshooting electrical systems. - Strong attention to detail to maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities. - Excellent customer service skills to interact with clients effectively. - Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
