We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated psychology graduate who is keen to gain experience in order to progress towards applied training in clinical psychology. The post is focused upon supporting data collection processes for Children and Young Peoples IAPT (CYP-IAPT), including clinical outcome monitoring and service–user satisfaction. The role involves supporting clinical staff in using and interpreting routine outcomes measures, analysing data, producing reports and training staff in outcome measures. Having good IT skills and knowledge of Excel and SPSS would be an advantage. Excellent communication skills are necessary to be able to liaise and support clinical staff and teams, and an interest in working with children and young people is essential. The post will be supervised by a Clinical Psychologist. Although the primary task in this role is to support data collection there will be opportunities to undertake clinical work under supervision.

Bexley CAMHS is a friendly, busy and thriving CYP IAPT service, regarded as an accessible and effective service. Staff that work in Bexley CAMHS describe a warm and caring environment across the whole service. We are an equal opportunities employer. We welcome applications from individuals from BAME backgrounds to ensure our workforce is representative of the communities with whom we work.

We are based in a newly refurbished, purposely designed building at Park Crescent (Erith Hospital Site), Park Crescent, Erith DA8 3EE. The site is easily accessible from Kent, SE and East London, as well as parts of Essex and Surrey. There is parking on site and nearby streets. There are also excellent public transport links including a direct train to Erith from London Bridge in under 40 mins.

Oxleas Trust has consistently achieved high ratings in quality assessments, patient and staff surveys with a culture of supporting staff whilst providing excellent services within a robust clinical governance framework. There is a programme of work underway ‘Building a Fairer Oxleas’, involving staff from across all directorates, committed to making changes within the organisations that have a positive impact for all staff, but in particular BAME staff, disabled staff and LGBT+ staff.
