Summary
Senior Technical Services Manager
Alder Hey Children's Hospital, Liverpool
As a Senior Technical Service Manager you will oversee day-to-day leadership of the on-site Mitie Engineering workforce and be pivotal in ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of FM Technical Services.
You will be the main point of contact for addressing operational challenges and control the effective management of contractors, suppliers and high-quality service delivery.
Collaborating with the Account Director you will ensure Mitie meets contractual obligations from a technical perspective. You will review site technical documents, validating compliance with contractual obligations using sound engineering concepts and expertise.
In this role, you'll personally ensure safety and quality, striving to exceed expectations while overseeing Mitie assets. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, providing technical insights and supporting decision-making processes through high-quality reports and presentations.
About you:
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Building Services Engineering or electrical/mechanical engineering, is preferred.
Demonstrable technical experience in handling complex healthcare PFI contracts is desired.
Strong knowledge and understanding of engineering systems within healthcare buildings, including HV, LV, medical gas, and ventilation systems, is crucial.
An ideal candidate would also have previous experience as an Authorised Person within NHS guidance (HTM) related disciplines, particularly in ventilation, medical gas, and HV/LV systems, and be qualified to the 18th edition electrical standard.
