We are thrilled to present an exceptional opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established veterinary group in the Hertfordshire area.

Our client, co-founded in 2000, has experienced rapid growth, now boasting 6 practices strategically located near excellent transport links. In this role, you will primarily operate from one practice while occasionally supporting two others. You will take on significant responsibility, including leading practices, in a role that offers ample opportunities for professional growth.

Working alongside a seasoned team of veterinary professionals, including 8 Veterinary Surgeons, 8 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 4 Student Veterinary Nurses, and 11 Receptionists, you will contribute to providing top-tier care for your clients' beloved pets. Our client's commitment to continuous professional development is evident, with CPD strongly encouraged. For instance, one of their vets is currently pursuing a laparoscopic course with the RVC, while one of their RVNs is enrolled in a certificate programme in nursing.

The practice boasts modern facilities equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including Digital Radiography, High-speed Colour Doppler Ultrasound scanners, Digital endoscopy, High-powered Dental Scalers and Polishers, and ECG & Anaesthetic monitoring equipment.

A typical week will see you conducting consultations in the mornings and afternoons, followed by inpatient care and liaising with pet owners for further workups or performing surgeries scheduled for the day.
