Summary
A confident and upbeat teacher is required for Year 1 in an excellent school in Manchester. Experience teaching in Reception or KS1 is essential due to the demands of summer term in KS1.
You will have full responsibility for the Year 1 class for summer term, although you will be working within a fantastic team as this is a multi-form entry school. You will plan for your class as part of this team. If you are a good team-player who enjoys working collaboratively, this would be the perfect setting for you. The school has very high standards so you must have strong curriculum knowledge and confident assessment skills to be considered for this Year 1 teacher role.
You will be expected to have excellent communication skills and be able to build rapport well so you can settle into the role quickly. You must have a positive approach to behaviour management and be able to support and help children to cooperate and behave appropriately.
