Summary

We are looking for an Internal Communications Apprentice, to join our dynamic team in Cramlington. As an apprentice specialising in internal communication, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring effective communication channels within our organisation. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate the flow of information across departments and our 9 overseas offices, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and timeliness in all internal communications.

What you’ll be doing

Collaborate closely with various teams across CMP, including in our UK HQ and wider 9 global office, to coordinate the flow of information
Develop a calendar of internal communications initiatives based on activities from various areas of the business
Assist with the implementation of new internal communications initiatives
Support the delivery of the internal newsletter on a quarterly basis, gathering information, interviewing, writing and proofreading articles
Support with organising and running of internal events
Write and publish articles on the CMP intranet
Ensure all internal communications are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with company messaging and values
Develop and maintain workflows for internal communication processes, including approval routes and timelines
Proactively identify opportunities to enhance internal communication strategies and processes
Support with the measurement of success of internal communications activities

This position will be on a full time basis. To provide its employees an improvement in work/life balance, CMP operates a 9-day fortnight (9/10) where staff employees have the opportunity to work compressed working hours and as a result have every other Friday as a day off.
