Summary
Join our team! The role includes supporting the practice team with administration tasks. This is a varied role that will give you the experience you need to achieve your Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship whilst being supported by an experienced team.
As an apprentice you will be part of the practice team.
- You will learn how to undertake reception duties which include dealing with
patients on the phone, at the counter and online.
- You will understand how to help answer queries, signpost to other services, to
book appointments.
- You will support in actioning requests from other members of the practice team
such as GPs, nurses, and other members of the team.
- You will have the opportunity to provide administration support to the practice
team.
- You will learn how to produce posters, create displays in the waiting room,
envelop post and photocopying.
- You will have the opportunity provide support to the data team,
- You will learn how to send invites to patients to book their appointments for
reviews of their long term conditions, vaccinations, review of records, scanning
and coding of hospital letters onto the patient medical records.
This role may be closed early if a sufficient number of applications are received.

- Business Administrator Level 3 apprenticeship standard
- Functional Skills in English and maths if required
- End Point Assessment:
Presentation; Practical Observation; Professional Discussion
- Fortnightly training from SS&L on Zoom
