Summary
You will need to understand the principles and core values of adult social care, following Hertfordshires Connected Lives Principles. You will be working alongside other agencies and supporting partnership working, attending multi-disciplinary meetings and working autonomously. Older People Team East and North Herts East Herts Locality Team Broxbourne Locality Team Stevenage Locality Team The East and North Herts Older People Service provide support to older people and adults with dementia. We assess and manage care services for older people, who live in the community, care homes or hospital. We currently have vacancies in our locality teams for Community Care Officers and are looking for enthusiastic people who are passionate about promoting the wellbeing of older people and carers. You need to have good communication skills, the ability to plan your time effectively, managing competing demands and prioritising your workload. You will need to understand the principles and core values of adult social care, following Hertfordshires Connected Lives Principles. You will be working alongside other agencies and supporting partnership working, attending multi-disciplinary meetings and working autonomously. All teams cover rural areas so a car driver with access to a vehicle is essential. These are ongoing vacancies and applications will be considered as and when received.
