Wintle ward is a 16-bedded female acute ward for females with a diagnosis of mental illness and/or personality disorder. We are involved in quality improvement (QI) projects designed to improve patient care and outcomes using evidence based practice We are a member of QNWA and accredited.Learning and development opportunities include Non-Medical Prescribing, (NMP) Clinical Leadership in Health care, Psychosocial and Family interventions and Professional Nurse advocacy (PNA)
