This is a 42 week post, working hours will be during school term only, the salary will be pro-rated accordingly. Please note the salary advertised is full time(35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year).

Role Purpose

We are seeking to recruit an experienced and skilled member of staff, with a background in working with children and families and third sector agencies. A key responsibility of the post holder is to link with other agencies and organisations in the community that may be already working with individual children and families or who can play a positive role in interventions.

Essential

A sound educational background, preferably with qualifications to at least Higher level.

A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post. * If you have a disability which precludes you from holding a drivers licence, Scottish Borders Council will take into account its responsibility to make reasonable adjustments to allow for your disability. Should it be possible to make such an adjustment in order that you can undertake the travel responsibilities of the post, this will be taken into account in consideration for this role.
