This is an exciting newly created opportunity to join our Asylum Accommodation and Support Services Contract (AASC) contract as an Energy Analyst, where you will work closely with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to develop effective relationships and communicate complex and detailed information. The contract covers 7500 domestic properties and £30m utility spend annually which will continue to grow in line with the contract growth, therefore you will be an experienced analyst and have worked in a relevant analytical biased discipline (ie (energy management, finance, economics, mathematics, science).

We are looking for someone with experience in energy, sustainability, or commercial sectors to support the Energy & Sustainability Team and deliver on accountabilities such as:


- Reviewing energy invoice data and comparing to Energy Supplier client portal data
- Highlighting and reporting energy data over agreed thresholds
- Managing and analysing energy data to identify trends and exceptions to inform enhanced business decision making
- Consumption reporting (actual/forecast) and profiling
- In depth analysis of energy invoices and integration of any discrepancy and adjustments
- Managing supplier relationships and swiftly resolving exceptions, whilst ensuring strict compliance with SLA’s
- Handling supply objections and resolving billing queries
- Responsible for the accuracy, integrity and validation of energy consumption data
- Developing processes to review and challenge energy invoices discrepancies and minimising rebilling
- Calculating and analysing monthly energy consumption and financial data
- Comparing actual, budget and forecast targets
- Assisting in the development of, and maintaining, data processing solutions
- Collecting, verifying and managing energy data to meet reporting and energy management requirements
- Reviewing, verifying and processing correction of monthly manual meter readings
- Working with customer pass-through reporting, analysis and audit trails


What you’ll need to do the role

HNC/Degree level in a relevant analytical biased discipline (energy management, finance, economics, mathematics, science).

1+ years’ experience in energy, sustainability, or commercial sectors.
