You have the opportunity to join our outstanding and high performing Physical Education team.

You will have drive and enthusiasm, with a willingness to go over and above, combined with a capacity for sustained hard graft, which are essential attributes for the successful candidate in this large and thriving school community.

A qualification in Dance would be advantageous but not essential.

You will be responsible for the following:

• Teaching assigned classes together with associated preparation and correction.
• Developing the school curriculum led by your Principal Teacher.
• Assisting, recording and reporting on the work of pupils.
• Preparing pupils for examinations and assisting with their administration.
• Providing advice and guidance to pupils on issues related to their education.
• Promoting and safeguarding the health, welfare and safety of pupils including fulfilling the role of Home Room Tutor.
• Working in partnership with parents, support staff and other professionals.
• Undertaking appropriate and agreed continuing professional development.
• Participating in issues related to school planning, raising achievement and individual review.
