Would you like to be part of our new Team at Ruby Lodge Care Home?
We are looking for an experienced Senior Care Assistant for our care home 'Ruby Lodge', where you will be providing a service to the home manager, the home and our residents. We are now looking for you to join in June, just before we open our doors to our 1st residents late June 2024.
Ruby Lodge Care Home located in Sowerby, Thirsk will accommodate up to 69 residents and will promote a lifestyle for residents that offers a luxurious environment with exceptional personalised care. From the moment you step across the threshold, you’ll be embraced by its warm and welcoming atmosphere. With superb facilities, the highest standards of care, support and social interaction will be delivered with dignity, kindness, and compassion.

ABOUT THE SENIOR CARE ASSISTANT ROLE
Within your role as a Senior Care Assistant, you can really make a difference to our residents’ lives. Your responsibilities will include:

Helping our residents with personal support and care.
Aiding their emotional well-being and social needs
Administration and monitoring of medications to residents Supporting residents at meal times
Interacting with our residents on a personal level
Maintaining care plans
Supporting residents at meals time

Experience as a Senior Care Assistant & leading a team.
Be no stranger to working night shifts
Have a friendly & caring attitude.
Able to engage well with the residents and their families
Have an understanding of people with Dementia
NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social care or willing to work towards this.
Great communication skills, both written & verbal.
