Summary

Doing Amazing Things Together

Make a difference to someone’s life through Positive Behaviour Support

What’s important to you? Is it being included, having choice over what you do and taking part in the things that matter most to you?

We work with young people with learning disabilities, Autism and sometimes mental health conditions using Positive Behaviour Support, techniques that are built on the principles of inclusion, choice and participation. These young people are at significant risk of entering specialist residential care.

Through Positive Behaviour Support, we can change the outcomes for these young people – change their lives. Our strategies and interventions can be the difference between a locked door of residential care, or an open door to anywhere they want to go.

We are looking for people with compassion, courage and creativity to join our team in Gloucestershire and train to become a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Practitioner. You will be supporting children and young people with learning disabilities, autism and behaviours that challenge on a 1 to 1 basis to improve their quality of life.

As well as working as part of our team, you will be working in very close partnership with and alongside the young person’s parents, teachers and other professionals to ensure that the PBS strategies keep them living at home, going to a local school and enjoying their community.

We will train you in everything you need to know about Positive Behaviour Support, but if you believe every young person deserves the chance to reach their potential, you’ve got a head start.

Positive Behaviour Support changes lives. It might just change yours. Apply now and become a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner.

Affinity Trust does not presently hold a Sponsorship Licence and while this status is reviewed regularly there is no present proposal to apply for such a Licence
