Summary

Children’s Support Worker / Care Assistant

Aran Hall School

Full time

Salary: 30,357.60 – 33,262.32 (inclusive of weekend bonus)

Hours: 8am – 10pm, fortnightly rolling rota, every other weekend off

The Role

You will join a team of experienced professionals and attend regular training sessions to ensure you have up to date knowledge to enable you to provide the highest quality of care. You will support the young people within the classroom and the home environment, giving academic support as well as teaching life skills like cooking and cleaning.

The position also involves planning and carrying out a range of activities to suit the interests of the children you care for. We expect all staff to be proactive and forward planning in this area to ensure the children have access to a wide range of hobbies.

Essential Criteria

- No previous experience is required – you will be given full training and shadow shifts with our fantastic team. We just need you to have natural empathy, be able to think on your feet and have a good sense of humour.

- A driving licence and access to own vehicle is desirable due to our rural location
