Summary

About The Role
At OCS Group, we are recruiting for Hospital Porter, who can deliver an efficient and exceptional porter service in a busy hospital environment.

You will be working on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, from 08:00 to 18:00, on a permanent part-time basis; which covers 27.5 hours per week.

Main Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Assist with the smooth running of the hospital services.
  • Transport equipment, medical records, meals, furniture, and linens as required
  • Receive, sort and deliver mail to various departments and wards.
  • Ensure all waste is collected and disposed of to agreed standards.
  • Ensure Hygiene Standards and Health and Safety regulations are complied with at all times.
  • Comply with agreed security procedures.
  • Assist staff and patients ensuring an excellent standard of service is delivered.

To succeed in this role you will need:

  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills with a professional approach
  • Candidates who reside within the vicinity or have their means of transport are preferred.
