Downing College is seeking a Kitchen Porter to join its friendly Catering team who prepare and serve a range of high-quality food, including fine dining, to the College community and commercial guests. This varied role includes cleaning kitchen items, maintaining the cleanliness of kitchen related areas, disposing of waste and recycling.
Based in a stunning environment in central Cambridge, the College offers a great workplace, comprehensive training, and opportunities for career progression. The College has a commitment to staff wellbeing and offers a range of attractive staff benefits plus a discretionary bonus.
Hours are to be worked on a shift pattern, Monday-Sunday including evenings.

Details of the roleThe post of Kitchen Porter is a permanent full-time role (37.5 hours/week). Salary: £22,425 per annum (Step 22 of the College scale).
