Summary

A Vacancy at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Macmillan Project Lead for the Living With & Beyond Cancer Project on a fixed-term basis for 18 months.

The successful candidate will manage the establishment and delivery of a new project, focused on improving the experience and outcomes for patients with cancer on follow-up and surveillance pathways. The post is funded by Macmillan Cancer Support, meaning the successful candidate will become a Macmillan Professional and gain access to a wide variety of benefits and opportunities.

The post can be based at York Hospital or Scarborough Hospital, with cross-site working, and may involve occasional travel within our other Trust sites.
You will be required to liaise regularly with colleagues at all levels of the Trust and must possess outstanding interpersonal skills to balance the demands of a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Project Management qualifications are not compulsory, so this is an excellent development opportunity for both clinical and non-clinical applicants interested in leading a transformation project; however, experience of working on and contributing to a programme of change is essential.
If you are passionate about making a difference then we would love to hear from you.

We would encourage any interested candidates to contact the recruiting manager to discuss the role and look forward to receiving your application.
