Summary
2. OBJECTIVES OF THE POST 2.1 To deliver care to patients referred to supra-regional Liver unit and to paediatric surgery Out-patient clinics Supervision of patients Care of in-patients and acute theatre patients on a 1:9 on call rota Contribute to Specialist Multi-disciplinary team meetings Possible outreach work 2.2 To link with consultant colleagues in other relevant site specialist teams within the Childrens Hospital and across the Trust. 2.3 To work with colleagues in paediatric surgery to deliver acute on call (currently 1 in 9). This includes both out-of-hours cover in addition to acute ward rounds during normal working hours. To contribute to research, teaching, and new developments within the paediatric surgery department. The post holder will be encouraged to facilitate and contribute to the current clinical research programs on going in the department
