Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Admissions professional to join the International team at Newcastle College.

Working in the busy International Office environment, the ideal candidate will be highly organised, results-oriented and have excellent communication skills as you will be communicating with prospective students and their representatives on a daily basis.

Newcastle College is part of NCG which is the first and only FE College group in England to achieve Taught Degree Awarding Powers on an indefinite basis. Therefore, the key focus of this post-holder will be overseeing the admission of students to Undergraduate and Postgraduate students to Newcastle College University Centre (NCUC).

Managing and supporting the admissions process from initial enquiries to enrolment, this post-holder will be highly organised, resilient and able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

Regular reporting, tracking, and analysis of admissions data is a key part of the role along with managing a team of three Admissions and Student Support Officers.

Knowledge of international qualifications, their UK equivalents, and UKVI Student route regulations is essential for this role.

You will be qualified to degree level (or equivalent) and have significant experience in an admissions role in a UK education institution. Knowledge and understanding of the international education markets is essential and a foreign language is desirable.

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to manage a demanding workload are key requirements of this job.
