Summary

Radis Community Care have an opportunity for Care Assistant/ Support Worker to join our team based in Strawberry Gardens in Yatton.

Strawberry Gardens is a extra care scheme located in Yatton. The development provides 60 apartments in total and facilities including a restaurant, craft room, lounge and hair salon, for residents and staff.

Our carers strive to help residents to retain as much independence as possible, for as long as possible and are on-site 24/7. Care is tailored to the needs of each person, provided within the comfort and privacy of their own flat and can range from a little help daily to support throughout the day and night time.

At this present time, we are unable to consider Sponsorship for this role.

About the role

As a Support Worker in our Extra Care Scheme you will be supporting customers who are over the age of 55 enabling them to maintain their independence

The role will require you to assist residents with personal care activities or light domestic tasks. You will have the opportunity to take part in physical and mental stimulation by taking part in recreational and social activities with residents, both individually and as a group.

The role is to promote Customers independence, choice, dignity and respect by delivering the best standard of care.

Shifts available are 7am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-7am (if you wish), alternate weekends. Full time and Part time positions available.
