Summary
Our client who are family founded business based in Stonehouse with more than 20 years of specialist experience within there friendly and supportive team are currently recruiting for a Part Time Payroll Administrator to join them on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will be joining a full managed payroll bureau.
Responsibilities/Duties;
-Provide a confidential administration service for Payroll Clients
-Keep up to date with any legislative changes regarding Income Tax, National Insurance and other Payroll related matters.
-Process/Import Timesheets received for payment from our clients on a Weekly/Monthly/2 Weekly/4 Weekly basis and reconcile to the Payroll System.
-Check and process Maternity/Paternity Leave calculations in accordance with statutory guidelines.
-Administer the Clients Workplace Pension Schemes
-Dealing with HMRC and other Government Agencies on Employer related queries.
-Completing the HMRC FPS & EPS returns each pay run
-Produce Nominal Journal for clients accountants
-Liase with Accountants and Auditors on Payroll Control queries
-Responsible for Tax Year End balancing for each client
-Liaise with Site Administrators, Managers and Employees when required.
-Answer telephone calls and emails, respond to any Payroll related queries in a timely and professional manner.
-Managing Benefits and Expenses and reporting correctly to HMRC via Payrolling Benefits or P11Ds.
Candidate Attributes;
-Previous experience working within a payroll environment.
-Handling confidential Information
-Knowledge of computer software applications, including payroll systems
-Knowledge of Microsoft software package with a particular strength in Excel and Outlook.
Hours- Monday- Friday 9.30am-2.30pm
Salary- Up to £29,250 pro-rata + Healthcare Plan
