Position: Personalised Gifts Production Specialist
Role Overview:
We are currently seeking a motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Personalised Gifts Production Specialist. In this role, you will play a vital part in the creation, production, and fulfilment of our personalised gifts. Initially this will be approx 30 hours per week with the potential for more hours as our business continues to grow. Some flexibility is required, particularly during busy periods such as Christmas.
Responsibilities:
- Light warehouse duties: Assist with stock replenishment, help maintain an organised inventory of materials and supplies. Identify low stock levels and report them to the relevant personnel for timely restocking.
- Personalisation of gift items: Utilise various techniques such as printing, vinyl application, dye sublimation, etc., to personalise a variety of gift items according to customer specifications (Full training to be provided).
- Operate and maintain production equipment: Ensure the proper operation and maintenance of printing machines, heat presses, and other equipment used in the personalisation process (Full training to be provided).
- Attention to detail in personalisation: Pay close attention to spelling, layout, and customer instructions to ensure accuracy and precision in personalising each gift item.
- Quality checks: Conduct thorough quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet our high standards and customer expectations.
- Packaging and shipping: Assist in packaging and shipping tasks as necessary to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of personalised gifts.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, production, or personalisation role is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Basic knowledge of personalisation techniques, including printing, vinyl application, or dye sublimation, is advantageous, but again, full training will be provided.
- Ability to operate and maintain production equipment safely and effectively.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload efficiently.
- Flexibility to work extended hours during peak periods, such as Christmas
- Good communication skills and a team player mentality.
- Basic computer literacy (familiarity with Royal Mail Click & Drop is a plus).
