Summary
Production Operative
Production Operative needed to help pack and prepare products on a fast moving production line.
Sniffers Pet Care is a key supplier of pet food to wholesalers and retailers in the UK, specialising in dog treats we are based in Elland, West Yorkshire. We’re an expanding business looking for new team members to help support the day-to-day operations and play a key role in the development as we continue to grow.
The role – key duties:
• Working in a fast-paced team environment, packing and preparing stock for dispatch to customers
• Performing general packing in accordance with time, quality, and quantity targets
• Quality control of stock, reporting of any issues to supervisors
• Use of weighing and sealing machines
• Safely moving stock around the warehouse, using manual pallet trucks
• Assisting with the unloading of deliveries and organising stock upon delivery
• Working within company health & safety policy guidelines.
Reports to – Packing Supervisor/Manager
Ideal candidate qualities
Excellent time management.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Good attention to detail.
Must be a team player.
Previous warehouse experience would be beneficial but not essential.
Candidates should be physically able to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 20kg and stand for long periods.
