We are a growing Trust with eight secondary schools, a sixth form and five primary schools, as well as alternative provision centres. Our mission is to ensure that ANY young person deserves an EQUAL chance to be successful in whatever they choose to do and our 1500 employees work incredibly hard to ensure we serve our 12,000 students and their families and communities effectively.
This is an exciting opportunity for a committed and motivated finance expert to become our new Chief Financial Officer. The successful candidate will join our central Trust Executive Team to lead the strategic management of the Trust finances and overall probity and sustainability. This role will work closely with the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer and the Trustees, to ensure we have transparent and highly effective financial management which is held to account by Lionheart schools and the Trust Board.
You will need a professional accountancy qualification as well as significant resource management and strategic leadership experience. A strong working knowledge of accountancy professional codes of practice, procurement, payroll and pensions are also required. In return we can offer you a fulfilling and stimulating role working with other like-minded professionals who strive to make a positive impact on the lives and outcomes of our students. We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where all staff have a seat at the table: a seat to be free, a seat to inspire, a seat to challenge and a seat to succeed.
