Job Title: Sister/Charge Nurse – Oncology & Medical Team
Location: St Johns Wood, London
Type: Full time, permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week – Monday - Sunday (flexibility required for long days, nights, & weekends)
Salary: £52,000 - £65,000 per annum (inclusive of shift enhancement)

Sanctuary Personnel are seeking a dedicated Sister/Charge Nurse to join our client's Cancer Nursing Team. The successful candidate will be joining a nursing team that provides ongoing care for Oncology & Medical patients within the inpatient setting. Accredited for the Macmillan Quality Environment Mark Award, they provide bespoke care to their patients from all walks of life.

Responsibilities:

• Providing leadership and support to the ward staff.
• Facilitating interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Promoting a culture of excellence in patient care.
• Contributing to the development of services and quality improvement initiatives.
• Supporting team development and performance appraisal.
• Deputising for Ward Manager as required.

Requirements:

• NMC Registered Nurse.
• Relevant post-registration experience in Oncology or Haematology.
• Experience in mentoring and teaching junior staff.
• Up-to-date knowledge and experience in the administration of SACT.
