Summary

This post is to support 3 schools. Trinity CE Primary, Iron Acton CEVC Primary & Hawkesbury CEVC Primary.
This is a part-time casual office holder position.
The fee payable is £5,271 per annum. The role is 440 hours per year.
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to take on the role of Clerk to Governors to support Trinity CE Primary School and The Pinnacle Schools Federation (Iron Acton CEVC Primary School and Hawkesbury CEVC Primary School). This crucial position involves providing administrative support to ensure the smooth running of governance functions across both boards. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating effective communication, maintaining accurate records, and supporting governors during in-person and remote meetings. The formal arrangements will consist of a separate agreement with each board.
We are looking for someone who:
• Has experience as an administrator
• Is IT literate
• Is well organised
• Has good communication skills
• Is able to take accurate minutes at meetings
• Is able to maintain impartiality and handle confidential minutes
• Is capable of advising Governors on changes and updates in legislation and other requirements
You should be reliable and have a flexible approach. Previous clerking experience is desirable though not essential as training and support will be available.
Other than attendance at meetings, the role will be carried out at home, at times of the day to suit the Clerk, whilst ensuring agreed deadlines are met.The role of Clerk to Governors provides a valuable insight into education and a school environment, providing an ideal stepping stone for someone looking to get into a school based administration role.
