A brand-new opportunity has arisen due to ongoing growth to join a leading Warwickshire Accountancy Firm to work within their Accounts team supporting a varied client base with the preparation of statutory accounts. Your new role
As a Semi-Senior Accountant within this firm, you will support clients with the preparation of yearly statutory accounts, communicating regularly with customers about their business activities and with other departments to coordinate all aspects of the accounts' preparation process in a timely manner. You will use a range of accounting software to maintain financial records for your clients. Through excellent communication and service delivery, you will develop effective relationships with clients and will collaborate with colleagues, communicating regularly with managers and directors. The ideal candidate for this role will be capable of managing more complex accounts preparation activities and will review the work of more junior members of the team.


What you'll need to succeed
The right candidate for this role will have gained experience preparing year-end accounts for clients from start to finish within an accountancy practice and will now be seeking the opportunity to step up to more complex work. You will ideally be AAT Qualified and/or part way through ACA or ACCA and will be offered fully funded study support to enable you to continue with your exams. Excellent systems skills (using a range of accounting packages such as Xero, Quickbooks, Receiptbank) and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues will also be key.
