Summary


An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administration Assistant to join our administration team at Rotherham - The Woodlands

We are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our busy teams who has a flexible approach to supporting the various teams in RDASH. You will need an understanding of confidentiality, possess strong communication skills and be able to work with both clinical and administration staff, members of the public, patients and electronic systems.

The post is permanent, 16 hours per week to be worked over Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays.

For the appropriate applicant administrative experience is essential and knowledge of the NHS and experience of using SystmOne would be an advantage for this position.

To communicate effectively, accurately and professionally, applying discretion and empathy
Create and maintain, up to date computerised patient records and recall systems on SystmOne.
Update new referrals on to SystmOne. Maintain current referrals and end where advised to do so
Provide an efficient and timely photocopying and scanning service to the team.
Assist in the production of high quality documentation, using Microsoft Word and SystmOne, including confidential letters. To liaise between clients, professional staff and other multi-agency partners as required
Deal with telephone enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, recording messages as per agreed systems and escalating as per protocols.
Book appointments, assessments, patient transport, and maintain appointment ledgers on SystmOne.
Ensure patients are discharged where necessary or make follow up appointments using SystmOne
