Summary

**Job Title:** Management Accountant

**Location:** Stourport-on-Severn

**Salary:** Up to £35,000 per annum


My client is a leading manufacturing company based in Stourport-on-Severn, committed to delivering high-quality products to their customers. As part of growth, we are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join a dynamic finance team.

**Key Responsibilities:**


* Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts.
* Analyze financial performance and provide insights to support business decision-making.
* Prepare and review annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
* Monitor and control costs to ensure they stay within budgeted levels.
* Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
* Assist with year-end audit and tax compliance.
* Provide financial support to other departments and assist with ad-hoc financial analysis as required.
* Prepare and submit VAT returns and other statutory filings.
* Adhere to tight deadlines and ensure timely and accurate completion of financial tasks.
* Continuously improve financial processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

**Requirements:**


* Proven experience as a Management Accountant, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
