Summary
We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Salford, who are recruiting for a Gas Engineer on a permanent basis.
The position is due to start as soon as a basic DBS is processed. The salary is £38,000, with over time pay, a van and a fuel card.
The ideal candidate will have to have the relevant Gas Safe Qualifications, domestic experience and experience working within tenanted properties.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Servicing, diagnosing and repairing Landlord owned gas appliances
Completing certifications in line with gas safety regulations
Reporting any faulty equipment not in line with gas safety regulations
Ordering parts and materials and recording all daily work
Reporting any potential repairs and safeguarding issues that you notice in the customers’ homes
Experience required:
Experience required in Social Housing
Experience working in tenanted properties
Experience with servicing and breakdowns
Working hours:
39 Hours a week
08:00 – 16:30 Monday – Thursday
08:00 – 15:30 Friday
