Summary
To actively work with departments and their staff in the hospital to enable a positive research culture and maintain effective communication. Participation in training of staff and educating patients involved in research projects and trials Maintain regular communication with members of the Trust research team and external research team Undertake and participate in training, conferences, seminars and other educational meetings as appropriate (providing feedback to nursing staff on completion of a trial etc.) to develop skills and knowledge as required for this post. Monitor progress of recruitment via electronic databases and spreadsheets where appropriate Compliance with the Research Governance Framework for Health and Social Care and the EU Directive for Clinical Trials Assist the Project Manager in the organisation and submission of documents required for Trust R&D approval and Research Ethics Committee approval
