Summary
Act as a specialist in the field of Medical Education particularly for Undergraduate and Foundation Medical Education - with excellent communication skills and expert knowledge. Communicate with senior managers and clinicians within UHSx and contracted medical schools to raise awareness of the required standards for undergraduate and foundation education and how performance is assessed, requiring the ability to communicate highly complex information to senior managers. Promote multi-professional learning and the share best practice. Implement procedures for ensuring the department can deliver the NHS Englands Education Governance and Trusts Clinical Governance agendas and deliver the medical school SLAs. Establish effective systems to monitor education delivery and governance, taking due regard to views of all trainees and medical students.
