Summary
Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - FM Service Provider - Static Site Edinburgh - £38,000 - £40,000 Per annum
Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM service provider situated in Edinburgh. My client is looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to be based on a static site in the City Centre. The successful candidate will be mechanically qualified / biased (C&G or NVQ) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. In return the company are offering a competitive salary, overtime and the chance to work at this very unique and interesting site. Working with the maintenance team on site.
He or she will be required to carry out mechanical and fabric maintenance to the following;
- Monitor mechanical plant
- Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
- Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
- Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
- Plumbing - Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers etc
- Monitor the BMS systems
- Basic electrical duties (Lamp changes etc)
- General building fabric
- Escort specialist sub contractors
Hours of work
- Monday to Friday - 08.00 - 17.00
- Overtime available
Requirements
- Mechanical qualifications - NVQ or City & Guilds
- You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
- A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
- Multi-skilled
- Good communication skills
- Able to gain Enhanced DBS
Salary & Package
- Salary up to 40K depending on experience and qualifications
- Holidays 25 days plus bank holidays
- OT at 1.5 and 2.0
- Call out allowance
- Life cover x 4
- Opportunity to purchase 5 additional holidays a year
Highly desirable (Not essential)
- Any further qualifications (i.e. Electrical or Air Conditioning etc)
- Water treatment (L8)
- Current or Expired Enhanced DB
