Summary
To manage and support users, systems, software and network. Develop and enhance new and existing systems and services whilst following EU and company global IT standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrate and maintain the company network (LAN), WAN connections, server operating system software and hardware upgrades, maintenance and troubleshooting for UK site.
Access and use the helpdesk system, categorise appropriately in accordance with Urgency/importance and action in an effective manner.
Providing IT infrastructure and update support for other departments key software and hardware.
Ensure constant communication with user base to ensure service levels are maintained.
Managing of device inventory.
Management of software licensing.
Development of software using suitable tools.
Ensure all starters and leavers from the company are managed as per procedures.
Ensuring systems are backed up using appropriate software.
Able to work with others to define project requirements and specifications in line with timelines.
Experience and skills required:
Essential
PC and Software deployment experience.
Experience in Microsoft office.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to manage and prioritise and organise workload.
Excellent communication skills with internal and external customers.
Problem solver with a proactive approach.
Desirable
BTEC/A level qualification in IT
Experience in Microsoft active Directory, 365.
Understanding of Networks (IP Addressing, Switches, VLAN, Wireless etc.)
