Summary

Your New CompanyHays Education and Social Care are working with a young people's care provider, who are looking for a Rota Coordinator/Officer to join their head office team. This company provides a bespoke and person-centred approach to supported accommodation for vulnerable and young people. This is a 12-week temporary to permanent opportunity, allowing the successful candidate to ensure the role is the right fit, before going on to a permanent contract.
Your New Role You will be based within the head office and will report directly to the HR Manager and Senior Management Team. You will be working on a full-time basis (37.5 hours per week). Your main responsibilities will be to ensure that rotas across the homes are staffed adequately to ensure service user needs are met, manage staff leave/absence, liaising with home managers to ensure adequate support is provided for all staff members and other HR-based duties.
What you'll need to succeedYou will have experience within rota coordination, shift management or HR, with the ability to use or pick up rota software and MS Office. You will have strong organisational and problem-solving skills combined with great attention to detail. You will be able to manage your workload, ensuring you prioritise tasks effectively and deadlines are met. You will have excellent written and verbal communication, able to liaise at all levels.
