For this vacancy you will undergo a level 2 Apprenticeship in Horticulture and Landscapes over 24 months. As Grounds Maintenance Apprentice you will be responsible for keeping our customers' sites looking great, including the following:

-Using mowers, strimmers, leaf blowers and hedge cutters and other tools

-Control weeds through careful chemical treatment (when qualified)

-Delivering our winter services, including gritting and snow clearance.

-Use our scheduling and reporting app to record what you've done.

-Leave work areas clean, tidy and well-maintained.

-Comply with Health & Safety procedures and instructions.

-Learn about and operate sustainable working practices.

-You will provide management with relevant information and reporting as required, including reporting any site issues

-You will work as part of a team

What we are looking for

-You should have an interest and passion for your chosen apprenticeship pathway

-You should enjoy problem solving and getting practical, hands on experience

-You should be committed to learning and completing studies in your chosen pathway

-Happy to work with mechanical equipment and hand tools (full training will be provided)

-You will have Maths and English Level 4-9 or equivalent/ Scottish National 5 certificates grade A to C and you should be able to provide certificates at interview
