Summary

We are seeking to appoint an exceptional individual to join us in the School Professional Services team, specifically the Education & Student Experience team, to provide comprehensive and high-level support. The role has a particular focus on Education and Student Experience administrative tasks, however the postholder will be expected to be flexible in supporting other portfolios of the School's Professional Services office (Future Students & Partnerships, Research and Finance, Planning and Performance), during peak times in the School calendar and for specific projects.

This is a permanent appointment available immediately.

This post will require a confident administrator with strong analytical skills and a proven record of accomplishment of senior level administration.

Your priorities will include:

  • To be a point of contact for the Education and Student Experience section. The ability to recognise and support the needs of students and staff is therefore essential as is the ability to cope with competing demands and interruptions.
  • Exhibit an outstanding level of accuracy skills, always applied, to ensure student data is current and reliable.
  • Provide expert working knowledge of SiTs system advising and training other staff as and when appropriate.
  • Provide support in managing Quality and Academic Standards related activities e.g., Periodical Programme Reviews, Curriculum Reviews, Module Descriptors, Committees and other meetings and events.
  • Contributing to an excellent student experience by providing a high level of administrative support to colleagues and students as required.

Who we're looking for:

  • Proficient level of education or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Student journey administrative experience.
  • Advanced level IT skills; experience in Microsoft Office Packages, in particular MS Word and Excel (data management, pivot tables and generating reports from excel), Teams, SITS, OneUniversity.
  • Able to communicate effectively with staff and students at all levels of the institution in addition to team members.
