Summary

Job title: Personal Assistant
Location: Lampeter Area
Hours of work: 32 hours a week for 15 weeks a year & 6 overnight weekends a year (including 34 hours)
Rate of pay £12.00 per hour.

I am a young lady of 21 years of age and I wish to hire a Personal Assistant to help me in and out of home.
I would like my assistant to support me to confidently access and interact with my local community. This will include supporting me to access my local shops, visiting café’s and other social activities which may interest me.
I enjoy horse riding, swimming and go carting, but would like my assistant to help me discover new and interesting leisure interests. Having a knowledge of the local and surrounding areas would be advantageous. This will require my PA to transport me to these activities in their own vehicle, a milage allowance will be included.
There will be times when my PA has to assist me with some personal care routines, notably showering and toileting. Epilepsy training will also be provided if required.

If requested by the employer, two satisfactory references must be provided. This post is subject to a trial period of 1 month and a probationary period of up to 6 months.
Wages will be paid in arrears on a 4 weekly basis once a valid National Insurance (NI) number has been provided. You must be eligible to work in the UK and your employer will conduct document checks prior to commencement.
You will receive the appropriate annual leave entitlement as well as all other statutory entitlements, details of which will be set out in your contract of employment. You will also be issued with a Personal Assistants Handbook when your employment commences.
You will be expected to undertake any mandatory training identified as relevant to this post. The cost of mandatory training will be met through the direct payment. Failure to attend mandatory training may result in your employment offer being withdrawn.
