Salary: £18 - £20 per hour
We are recruiting for an experienced and qualified Multi Trade Operative to join a successful social housing repairs and maintenance team on a local council contract.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out high quality responsive repairs and maintenance tasks to council owned housing stock such as fitting kitchens, painting, patching a wall, repairing tiles, all types of floor laying, repairing toilets, hanging doors, tracing leaks, laying slabs, fence repairs, etc.
- Using an electronic PDA device to receive instructions, and to feedback electronically details of works undertaken, or works to be undertaken.
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence (manual)
- Blue CSCS Card (Multi Trade Level 2 NVQ) OR City & Guilds Level 2 in Building Maintenance Multi-trade Repair and Refurbishment Operations
- Asbestos Awareness, UKATA or ITAP
- Basic Criminal Record Check
