Summary
The Department of Computer Science is seeking to appoint an outstanding Lecturer in Data Science for Healthcare to join the team at Reading as one of four new appointments to provide high quality teaching and research. Essential for this role is that you:
- Have a PhD in computer science or a related field, and a strong reputation for rigorous international research in Clinical Data Science and analysis.
- Have well developed knowledge of the fundamentals of computer science as suitable for teaching across the curriculum at UG/PG level.
- Have excellent research publications of international standing on Data Science.
- Have a strong commitment to student support and the enhancement of the learning experience.
- Have the ability to work collaboratively alongside a diverse range of colleagues.
- Have a flexible and adaptable approach to your work and a readiness to lead and participate in teams.
- Have the ability to develop your own materials and approaches to teaching, and the skills to analyse students’ learning experiences.
