Summary

Sanctuary Personnel is currently seeking an experienced Band 7 Clinician to take on a new locum opportunity based in Chelmsford, within the CAMHS Team.

Location: Chelmsford - will have to work across Mid Essex Patch (Braintree/Maldon/Halsted)

Contract Type: Locum, 3-month contract

Pay Rate: £36 per hour (assignment rate)

Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday, 09:00 am – 17:00 pm

Duties:

• Carry out weekly urgent and crisis follow up assessments, formulate treatment plans and assess risk
• Offer treatment for allocated higher risk/complex patients
• Offer supervision to Band 6 workers in the team
• Attend/facilitate weekly MDT and team meetings
• Take a lead on safeguarding and multi-agency work

Requirements of the Clinician:

  • Degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing
  • Valid NMC Registration
  • Assessment and formulation skills
  • Experience working in CAMHS - offering treatment to children, young people and their careers and families
  • Experience in care planning and risk management
