Caretaker - Non Resident (L2Z1)
Description
We are currently seeking a Caretaker - Non Resident (L2Z1) to join our team. As a Caretaker, you will be responsible for maintaining and overseeing the day-to-day operations of a residential property. This is a non-resident position, which means that you will not be required to live on-site. You will be based at our head office and will be required to travel to different properties as needed.
Responsibilities
Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the common areas in the residential property.
Maintain the overall cleanliness of the property, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify any maintenance issues or repairs that are needed.
Coordinate and oversee any necessary repairs or maintenance work, including contacting and scheduling contractors.
Assist residents with any maintenance requests or issues that they may have.
Manage and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs, replacing air filters, and unclogging drains.
Requirements
Previous experience in a similar caretaker or maintenance role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
Flexibility to travel to different properties as required.
Ability to handle physical work such as lifting and moving heavy objects.
Knowledge of basic maintenance and repair procedures.
Non-Residential Caretaker with a minimum of six months or more experience. Must understand health and safety, and the use of cleaning chemicals (COSHH). Ability to work on own initiatives an advantage.
