Summary

Job Description:
Mastercopy, a company with a rich history and a forward-thinking vision, is seeking a dedicated and experienced IT Support Technician to join our dynamic team. As we continue to expand into the IT support sector, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in a wide range of IT-related tasks, providing essential support to our users and maintaining our systems to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

1. User Support: Provide both remote and on-site assistance to users experiencing software/hardware issues. This includes troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving problems, as well as providing training on new systems and software as necessary.
2. Backup and Disaster Recovery: Establish and maintain backup systems to ensure data security and integrity. Develop and implement disaster recovery plans and procedures to minimize downtime and data loss in the event of a failure.
3. Server Support and Maintenance: Provide comprehensive support for both onsite and cloud-based servers running both Windows and Linux (primarily Debian). This includes regular maintenance, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal server performance.
4. Network support: Manage and maintains network infrastructure, including device management, performance monitoring, security implementation, and assistance in network design and technology implementation.
5. AAD and Microsoft 365 Administration: Oversee and administer Azure Active Directory (AAD) and Microsoft 365 environments. This includes user and license management, security and compliance, and system configuration.
6. Migration Projects: Participate in migration projects, which may involve transitioning from on-prem to azure AD or migrations to Docflow from alternative systems. This includes planning, execution, and post-migration support.
7. Docflow Support: Provide support for our internationally used Document Management system, Docflow.

The Ideal Candidate:
• Has proven experience in a similar IT support role. (Minimum 3 years)
• Possesses strong knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure.
• Has experience with AAD and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Demonstrates excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Has strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Ability to confidently work alone or as part of a team
• Previous MSP experience beneficial
• Experience working with Linux systems
