Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Practice Lead to join our team, specialising in Parenting and Groupwork. As a Senior Practice Lead in our organisation, you will play a crucial role in continuing to deliver a high quality service, shape and advancing our programs focused on parenting support, children and young people recovery work and other group interventions.

You will be an innovative, proactive leader who engages in a strength-based approach to leadership. As Senior Practice Lead you will provide expert guidance and supervision to your colleagues and will form a key part of the Early Help and Prevention Management team.

You will be an innovative, proactive leader who engages in a strength-based approach to leadership. As Senior Practice Lead you will provide expert guidance and supervision to your colleagues and will form a key part of the Early Help and Prevention Management team. You must have the ability to build excellent relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Some of the essential experience you bring is:

Knowledge around social inclusion and tackling disadvantage.
An understanding of the current legislation, social policy and issues relating to early help, Supporting Families
Experience in designing and leading parenting support programs and group interventions.
Ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Knowledge of diverse parenting styles, family dynamics, and group dynamics.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Working knowledge of Early Help assessments and interventions
An understanding of Safer Recruitment
Experience working within Data Protection and Confidentiality Standards
Strong ability to work across agency and service boundaries to mobilise resources for children, young people and their families
Ability to empower, motivate and develop staff
Evidence that you can work as an inquisitive and assertive manager with the ability to manage conflict confidently.
Experience of effectively performance managing staff including under performance
A full driving license and enhance DBS check is required for this role.
Working knowledge of Ofsted Inspection Framework including Single Inspection Framework and Joint Targeted area inspections is desirable.
